1 review for Fliegerduffel Adventure Bag

  1. As a FireFighter, Police officer and Helicopter pilot, I’ve been impressed and really let down by gear.
    The Maxpedition “Fliegerduffle” adventure bag truly indulged my wants in a midsize multipurpose bag by delivering the following;
    – A well structured form w/o overly rigid panels or corners.
    – Legitimate comfortable backpack straps that tuck, stow and zip closed so well, I forgot about them.
    – Handles a caveman would appreciate on the top, fwd and aft. ends of the bag that provide confident yanks, comfortable lifts and sustainable balanced carry.
    – A full width panel is the primary access, allowing quick location and removal of your well organized items.
    – The bag’s geometry will not roll, tip over or slouch.
    – A built in low profile lashing system and well placed Molly allow strapping external loads but w/o the dangling jive of most packs.
    – Pockets intelligently sized and placed throughout the perimeter of the bag, maintaining vast openness for things your way.
    – Material and stitching sturdy as a pair of 1970 TuffSkins jeans, but light as a Speedo!
    – Airline carry on approved size. It’s less than obnoxious as a daily bag, but big enough to bug out for a couple days.

    Well done MaxPedition, you nailed this one!

    I evaluate Maxpedition products in general as 1.5-2 clicks above the familiar 5.11 brand. It is designed for applications more demanding than what the typical Police and City FireFighters see.
